Sin embargo, como consecuencia de su baja durabilidad qu\u00edmica, su uso es muy limitado.  una alternativa para mejorar la durabilidad qu\u00edmica de los vidrios de fosfato consiste en la sustituci\u00f3n parcial del ox\u00edgeno de la red v\u00edtrea por nitr\u00f3geno. la nitruraci\u00f3n por tratamiento t\u00e9rmico en atm\u00f3sfera de amoniaco ha demostrado ser un buen m\u00e9todo para mejorar la durabilidad qu\u00edmica sin provocar grandes cambios en el resto de las propiedades orignales de los vidrios.  la incorporaci\u00f3n de nitr\u00f3geno en los vidrios de fosfato produce un aumento de su densidad, dureza, \u00edndice de refracci\u00f3n, resistividad el\u00e9ctrica, temperaturas de transici\u00f3n v\u00edtrea y de reblandecimiento dilatom\u00e9trico y, especialmente, de su resistencia hidrol\u00edtica.  mediantre tratamiento t\u00e9rmico en atm\u00f3sfera de amoniaco  anhidro se ha llevado a cabo la s\u00edntesis de vidrios de fosfato nitrurados pertenecientes al sistema de composici\u00f3n li2o-na2o-pbo-p2o5. Se ha estudiado la cin\u00e9tica de nitruraci\u00f3n as\u00ed como la influencia de la temperatura sobre la incorporaci\u00f3n de nitr\u00f3geno. por otro lado, se ha determinado la viscosidad de los vidrios de fosfato base, mediante viscosimetr\u00eda de alta temperatura, para establecer la relaci\u00f3n entre la viscosidad inicial de los vidrios y la incorporaci\u00f3n de nitr\u00f3geno durante el proceso.  la estructura de los vidrios de fosfato base y la evoluci\u00f3n estructural durante la sustituci\u00f3n de ox\u00edgeno por nitr\u00f3geno se han estudiado mediante espectroscopia raman,
