En este modelo, se incluye uno de los factores considerados clave en el desarrollo de la competencia experta, la habilidad para organizar los conocimientos (ceci, 1998; charness y schultetus, 1999; ericsson y lehmann, 1996; glaser, 1991; sternberg y grigorenko, 2003). otro factor a considerar, es la habilidad intelectual general y su relaci\u00f3n con la competencia experta en general, as\u00ed trataremos de responder a la cuesti\u00f3n de si la competencia experta es el resultado de un mayor nivel de habilidad intelecutal y\/o de un conocimiento m\u00e1s organizado. A estos factores se a\u00f1ade la motivaci\u00f3n, el empleo de estrategias, as\u00ed como el tipo de instrucci\u00f3n recibida.  este conjunto de factores se analizan en individuos que consideramos se encuentran en la fase de desarrollo inicial de la competencia experta; un grupo de alumnos universitarios, estudiantes de segundo ciclo, matriculados en la licenciatura de psicopedagog\u00eda. En los que se estudian los procesos y resultados de la adquisici\u00f3n de un aprendizaje complejo, dentro de un dominio espec\u00edficos de contenido, y en el ambiente real de aprendizaje de una materia perteneciente a ese dominio.  el m\u00e9todo utilizado combina distintas orientaciones metodol\u00f3gicas, que incluyen desde procedimientos cualitativos a poderosas t\u00e9cnicas como son los
