Claudia <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El acoso sexual es una forma de violencia sexual. Puede darse, siempre que hay alguna forma de relaci\u00f3n de poder. Las modalidades de acoso sexual pueden ir desde actos sexistas, avances sexuales no deseados, coerci\u00f3n o ataques. El acoso sexual es un componente t\u00edpico de las relaciones asim\u00e9tricas de g\u00e9nero, que tambi\u00e9n es una forma de violencia asim\u00e9trica.  se trata de un estudio descriptivo transversal cuya novedad es la operacionalizaci\u00f3n de las conductas en incomodidad, coerci\u00f3n y acoso sexual formal, en una muestra de 1088 mujeres estudiantes y trabajadoras de la ciudad bucaramanga en colombia y la ciudad de salamanca en espa\u00f1a.  se concluye en presente estudio que las conductas de incomodidad, de coerci\u00f3n y acoso sexual formal son formas, diferentes en grado, de un mismo fen\u00f3meno de violencia sexual, que asume expresi\u00f3n de una cultura de g\u00e9nero asim\u00e9trica y su preValencia se asocia a caracter\u00edsticas personales, de la organizaci\u00f3n y de los ambientes laborales y acad\u00e9micos; la preValencia de las conductas de incomodidad, coerci\u00f3n y acoso sexual formal est\u00e1n en proporci\u00f3n inversal al grado de rechazo o sanci\u00f3n social a las mismas y en relaci\u00f3n inversa al grado de compromiso personal del agresor para ejecutar una determinada conducta de violencia sexual; el acoso sexual formal genera consecuencias negativas para la v\u00edctima en el sito de trabajo, en el estudio y en la calidad de vida. La respuesta m\u00e1s frecuente de la mujer frente a la conducta de acoso sexual formal es la frecuente de la mujer frente a la conducta de acoso secual formal es la huida; al comparar los resultados de esta investigaci\u00f3n en los grupos encuestados en espa\u00f1a y colombia, se observan fundamentalmente las mismas tendencias y por consiguiente las conclusiones generales son v\u00e1lidas en ambos casos.
