A continuaci\u00f3n se described y resuelve num\u00e9ricamente un primer modelo (fowler y johnson, 1996).  con el objeto de superar las limitaciones detectadas en el modelo anterior, se propone una reformulaci\u00f3n del mismo en t\u00e9rminos de operadores mult\u00edvocos e inecuaciones variacionales, y se deduce el problema de obst\u00e1culo asociado.  la nueva formulaci\u00f3n del modelo generaliza la formulaci\u00f3n fuerte de fowler y johnson en el sentido de que puede ser aplicada a una base con r\u00e9gimen t\u00e9rmico polar. Depu\u00e9s de analizar matem\u00e1ticamente el sistema acoplado de ecuaciones en derivadas parciales que constituye el modelo reformulado (modelo mult\u00edvoco), se obtiene el resultado de existencia de soluciones. posteriormente se prueba la convergencia de las soluciones obtenidas en las distintas etapas del desacoplamiento a una soluci\u00f3n d\u00e9bil acotada y f\u00edsicamente admisible del modelo.
