Estos enzimas xiloglucanol\u00edticos producidos por hongos saprobios y rhizobium se segregan de forma mayoritaria al medio de cultivo y son inducibles mediante la presencia de sustrato. Los hongos arbusculares y saprobios produjeros enzimas xiloglucanol\u00edticos diferentes no solo a nivel de especie sino tambi\u00e9n a nivel de raza.  los hongos arbusculares, hongos saprobios y bacterias del g\u00e9nero rhizobium incrementan la producci\u00f3n de xiloglucanasas por ra\u00edces de las plantas, este incremento es variable seg\u00fan la planta sobre la que se inoculan los microorganismos. La inoculaci\u00f3n de los hongos  arbusculares en presencia de microorganismos saprofiticos o mutualistas produjo un incremento generalizado cuantitativo y cualitativo de la actividad xiloglucan\u00e1sica de las plantas inoculadas. Se ha observado que existe una correlaci\u00f3n de la actividad endoxiloglucanasa del micelio externo de los hongos arbusculares, con el grado de colonizaci\u00f3n de las ra\u00edces de plantas inoculadas y con el efecto del hongo arbuscular sobre el crecimiento de la planta.  la actividad xiloglucanasa es importante en el proceso de colonizaci\u00f3n de la ra\u00edz por los hongos
