Las muestras investigadas han sido monocristales de bi2sr2cacu2o8+delta,  por un lado y capas delgadas de bi2sr2cuo6+delta crecidas sobre srtio3 para la otra familia investigada. Un exhaustivo estudio de las propiedades de las bandas virtuales en funci\u00f3n de la energ\u00eda y de la polarizaci\u00f3n de los fotones incidentes en distintas zonas de brillouin ha sido realizado, lo cual ha permitido discernir que la simetr\u00eda de estas bandas difiere de la de las bandas principales del compuesto, lo cual ha permitido descartar inequ\u00edvocamente el modelo ortorr\u00f3mbico.  * la presencia del orden de carga en estos compuestos ha sido investigada mediante difracci\u00f3n difusa de rayos x. Se ha observado por primera vez la existencia de una estructura difusa enlos dos tipos de compuestos, que puede ser adscrita a la presencia de un orden de carga relacionado con un desplazamiento at\u00f3mico.
