La obturaci\u00f3n de emisores constituye un serio problema en la operaci\u00f3n de los sistemas de riego por goteo, especialmente cuando se emplea agua residual tratada almacenada en dep\u00f3sitos superficiales. El objetivo principal de esta investigaci\u00f3n, fue evaluar el comportamiento hidr\u00e1ulico de los emisores ante la potencial intrusi\u00f3n de ra\u00edces empleando diferentes barreras f\u00edsicas y qu\u00edmicas. Durante el ciclo agr\u00edcola 2001\/02, se realiz\u00f3 un ensayo experimental usando dos tipos de agua: limipia (al) y residual (ar) tratada en un sistema mixto combinando un reactor biol\u00f3gico con una laguna de maduraci\u00f3n y tres tipos de protectores: microdosis de trifluralina (w), manta geotextil (g) y tuber\u00eda de pl\u00e1stico (p). Se regaron dos oleaginosas, colza (brassica napus l.) y soja (glycine max l.) Con rendimientos promedio sin fertilizaci\u00f3n de 3223 kg\/ha y 7319 kg\/ha respectivamente, encontr\u00e1ndose entre los registros mas elevados del pa\u00eds. La cantidad total de agua efectiva recibida por los cultivos, fue de 4807 m3\/ha para colza y 5828 m3\/ha para soja. La buena uniformidad de las plantas en las parcelas experimentales de ambos cultilvos en las distintas etapas fenol\u00f3gicas, reflej\u00f3 una alta eficiencia de distribuci\u00f3n del agua en el suelo, lo cual fue respaldado por estudios de perfiel del suelo que mostraron en el tiempo un comportamiento regular de las isol\u00edneas de l\u00e1minas de agua almacenada a diferentes profundidades. La observaci\u00f3n directa de las ra\u00edces indic\u00f3 un buen comportamiento del geotextil como mecanismo protector -material f\u00e1cilmente disponible en el mercado laboral-, que produce la
