Se aborda en primer lugar el proceso espec\u00edfico de austenizaci\u00f3n (alfa+p-gamma)  en el que se propone un modelo cin\u00e9tico que, basado en c\u00e1lculos termodin\u00e1micos y en la teor\u00eda de transformaciones de fase en estado s\u00f3lido, predice la fracci\u00f3n de volumen de austenita formada durante el calentamiento continuo, a cada temperatura dentro del campo bif\u00e1sico (ac1-ac3) y para distintas velocidades de calentamiento.  en sengundo lugar, en este trabajo se ha realizado la modelizaci\u00f3n del proceso de crecimiento de grano austen\u00edtico producido durante el calentamiento continuo a temperaturas superiores a ac3. Este proceso, de enorme inter\u00e9s por su incidencia sobre la microestructura y propiedades obtenidas despu\u00e9s del tratamiento t\u00e9rmico del acero, reviste una especial dificultad en los aceros microaleados, como el estudiado en este trabajo, donde la cin\u00e9tica de los procesos de disoluci\u00f3n de compuestos intersticiales afecta directamente al propio de gano austenitico.  los dos modelos te\u00f3ricos propuestos han sido validados experimentalmente, comprob\u00e1ndose que predicen, con una excelente aproximaci\u00f3n, tanto la fracci\u00f3n de volumen de austenita formada como el tama\u00f1o de grano que alcanza dicha fase a una determinada temperatura durante un calentamiento del acero a velocidad conocida.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
