Hasta la fecha existen m\u00faltiples investigaciones que implican a este p\u00e9ptido en la hiperemia intestinal, o aumento postpandrial del flujo intestinal, as\u00ed como en el aumento flujo cerebral asociado a los ataques de p\u00e1nico. Sin embargo los antecedentes que aparecen en la literatura indican que la colecistocinina no tiene ning\u00fan efecto directo sobre los vasos, y no aportan datos sobre el mecanismo del aparente efecto vasoactivo de la colecistocinina. Por ello, el objetivo general de este estudio ha sido determinar si la colecistocinina tiene alg\u00fan efecto sobre la regulaci\u00f3n del tono vasuclar en lechos perif\u00e9ricos y centrales, as\u00ed como caracterizar el mecanismo implicado. Nuestros resultados demuestran que en arterias cerebrales de bovino y en lecho mesent\u00e9rico de rata, la cck-8 y la cck-4 ejercen un efecto neurog\u00e9nico vasodilatador debido a la liberaci\u00f3n de \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico neuronal. El receptor implicado en el efecto vasoactivo de estos neurotransmisores es el receptor cck2, el cual se localiza en terminaciones nerviosas nitr\u00e9rgicas de ambos lechos vasculares. Adem\u00e1s, observamos que los vasos cerebrales y mesent\u00e9ricos presentan innervaci\u00f3n de fibras de colecistocinina, las cuales est\u00e1n \u00edntimamente asociadas a la pared del vaso sangu\u00edneo. Estos datos en conjunto evidencian por primera vez un papel de la cck neuronal, mediado por receptores cck2 presin\u00e1pticos, en la regulaci\u00f3n del tono vascular.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
