El ajuste del modelo es lo bastante bueno como para pensar en aplicaciones cibern\u00e9ticas elementales para el estudio del significado biol\u00f3gico de se\u00f1ales concretas mediante estimulaci\u00f3n artificial. As\u00edmismo se demuestra que algunos gfrs (gradual frequency rises: incrementos de frecuencia graduales) son de tipo regular y pueden ser clasificados en categor\u00edas discretas.  el modelo matem\u00e1tico sugiere la presencia de conexiones neuronales separadas para la producci\u00f3n de gfrs de tipo regular y de tipo irregular. Estas v\u00edas podr\u00edan formar parte de las ya conocidas que separan la producci\u00f3n de chirps (incrementos abruptos de frecuencia) y de gfrs de tipo irregular (los gfrs regulares ser\u00edan generados de la misma manera que los chirps), o bien ser una subdivisi\u00f3n, a\u00fan desconocida, dentro de la v\u00eda de producci\u00f3n conocida para los gfrs irregulares. Los gfrs regulares son generados en series. sin embargo, aunque la probabilidad de una correlaci\u00f3n cruzada entre las se\u00f1ales de dos individuos es muy superior a lo esperado por puro azar, esta asociaci\u00f3n no es lo bastante clara como para probar que sea estad\u00edsticamente significativa. La aproximaci\u00f3n presentada aqu\u00ed demuestra ser una metodolog\u00eda v\u00e1lida para el an\u00e1lisis de se\u00f1ales complejas que no pueden reducirse a categor\u00edas (aqu\u00ed los gfrs de tipo irregular).  los peces dominantes tienden a enfrentarse a sus rivales frontalmente durante las secuencias de interacci\u00f3n una vez establecido el orden jer\u00e1rquico. esta diferencia en el comportamiento es estad\u00edsticamente significativa y muy estable en diferentes niveles de agresi\u00f3n.
