Este tipo de prote\u00ednas son las encargadas de poner en contacto la maquinaria de procesamiento del dna con la responsable de su transporte, en el fen\u00f3meno de conjugaci\u00f3n bacteriana.  las prote\u00ednas acopladoras son intr\u00ednsecas de membrana y por ello, poco estudiadas.
