Esta tesis versa sobre la automatizaci\u00f3n de la tarea de modelado en sistemas f\u00edsicos. \u00e9Ste ha sido el objetivo com\u00fan en la mayor parte de los entornos de modelado existentes en la actualidad. la reutilizaci\u00f3n de modelos predefinidos en librer\u00edas de modelado que puedan ser conectados para construir nuevos modeloas ha sido el enfoque adoptado por la mayor parte de ellas. No obstante, no es posible garantizar la reutilizaci\u00f3n de modelos predefinidos para la construcci\u00f3n de nuevos modelos cuando dichos modelos han sido definidos para cierto prop\u00f3stio de experimentaci\u00f3n . En la tesis se analiza en detalle cu\u00e1les son las limitaciones de las principales herramientas y metodolog\u00edas disponibles en el mercado. Para eliminar dichas limitaciones, se ha definido un nuevo lenguaje, pml, para el modelado de sistemas f\u00edsicos. El lenguaje permite el desarrollo orientado a objetos de modelos garantizado la reutilizaci\u00f3n de modelos a nivel topol\u00f3gico, es decir, conectando los modelos de los componentes f\u00edsicos del sistema an\u00e1logamente a la manera en que se encuentran conectados en el sistema. el formalismo de representaci\u00f3n del comportamiento f\u00edsico definido en el lenguaje grantiza la reutilizaci\u00f3n de los modelos independientemente del contexto f\u00edsico en el que se han s ido predefinidos. Los modelos pml pueden ser utiilzados para diferentes prop\u00f3sitos de experimentaci\u00f3n, obteni\u00e9ndose de manera autom\u00e1tica la formulaci\u00f3n de las din\u00e1micas que son de
