La modificaci\u00f3n de su funcionalidad amino se ha llevado a cabo por reacci\u00f3n con peque\u00f1as cantidades de fenilglicidil \u00e9ter (pge), formando aductos pams:pge.  se ha analizado la miscibilidad de los polisiloxanos sintetizados con una resina epox\u00eddica, diglicidil \u00e9ter del bisfenol-a (dgeba). Las mezclas resultantes son inmiscibles inicialmente, aunque el avance de la reacci\u00f3n epoxi\/amina provoca su homogeneizaci\u00f3n parcial.  el curado de dgeba con los diferentes endurecedores poliaminosilox\u00e1nicos, pams y pams:pge tambi\u00e9n ha sido estudiado. Se ha analizado la influencia de la concentraci\u00f3n inicial de grupos hidroxilo, capaces de catalizar la reacci\u00f3n epoxi\/amina, y la presencia de grupos amina secundarios en la mezcla inicial. El calor de reacci\u00f3n y la energ\u00eda de activaci\u00f3n obtenidos son comparables a los reportados para el curado de resinas epoxi con diaminas convencionales. La reacci\u00f3n se ajusta a un modelo autocatal\u00edtico, presentando una autoaceleraci\u00f3n a relativas bajas conversiones. Se ha comprobado que al aumentar la concentraci\u00f3n de aminas secundarias y grupos de hidroxilo, la reacci\u00f3n no-catalizada pierde importancia respecto a la aucatalizada.  mediante diversas t\u00e9cnicas microsc\u00f3picas, se ha analizado la morfolog\u00eda de los sistemas curados, observ\u00e1ndose cierto grado de heterogeneidad composicional provocado por la inmiscibilidad inicial de los componentes. Se han encontrado \u00abpseudodominios\u00bb ricos en silano distribuidos homog\u00e9neamente por la matriz epoxi. Dichos dominios est\u00e1n constituidos por gradientes de concentraci\u00f3n en forma de capas conc\u00e9ntricas. Se ha comprobado que dicha heterogeneidad afecta a las propiedades mec\u00e1nicas y que disminuye a medida que aumenta el grado de entrecruzamiento.  tambi\u00e9n se ha estudiado
