de <strong>  Mollar Villanueva Manuel David <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El prop\u00f3sito del presente trabajo es exponer de forma clara los conceptos relacionados con la computaci\u00f3n de los valores singulares del producto de dos matrices y desarrollar algoritmos paralelos en distintas arquitecturas para resolver dicho problema.  concretamente, estudiaremos tres algoritmos diferentes:  * el m\u00e9todo de kogbetliantz impl\u00edcito  * el de golub, solna y  van dooren  * y el de dmrac.  as\u00ed mismo, desarrollaremos programas para el c\u00e1lculo de la psvd:  * usando el paradigma de programaci\u00f3n en memoria compartida (compilador paralelizante) para el m\u00e9todo de kogbetliantz, en dos multiprocesadores con memoria compartida, alliant fx\/80 y silicon power challenge.  * usando el paradigma de paso de mensajes a bajo nivel (pvm) para el m\u00e9todo de kogbetliantz en los sistemas multiprocesador, tanto de memoria compartida como distribuida, siguientes:  &#8211; una red de transputers  &#8211; el multicomputador meiko  &#8211; un cluster de pcs  &#8211; el citado multiprocesador power challenge  * usando el paradigma de paso de mensajes (scalapack sobre mpi) para todos los m\u00e9todos en el cluster de pcs y en m\u00e1quinas multiprocesador con memoria compartida.  realizaremos pruebas temporales de los programas, compar\u00e1ndolas entre s\u00ed a fin de
