Tras analizar la respuesta celular y molecular, podemos concluir que la mayor\u00eda de procesos desencadenados son similares tanto en t\u00e9rminos absolutos como en el patr\u00f3n temporal, a los observados in vivo. Esto valida nuestro modelo como modelo para el estudio de lesiones y, como consecuencia, para el estudio de la capacidad regenerativa de la conexi\u00f3n entorrino-hipoc\u00e1mpica.     a trav\u00e9s del modelo in vitro del cultivo organot\u00edpico entorrino-hipoc\u00e1mpico, se analizan los factores responsables del fracaso de regeneraci\u00f3n que acontece en el sistema nervioso central adulto. Los resultados nos indican que un doble abordaje capaz por una parte de revertir las propiedades hostiles que genera una cicatriz y por otra parte de atraer los axones seccionados de nuevo sobre la que fue su diana, ser\u00eda la clave para lograr una regeneraci\u00f3n axonal completa. Las c\u00e9lulas de cajal-retzius son una poblaic\u00f3n neuronal transitoria responsable de la formaci\u00f3n de la v\u00eda perforante en desarrollo. El transplante de estas c\u00e9lulas, o su ambiente inmediato, parece ser suficiente para que las neuronas entorrinales axotomizadas inciden un programa de leongaci\u00f3n neur\u00edtica que no s\u00f3lo permita que estos axones crucen la cicatriz, sino que los dirige a la que fue su diana original, permitiendo la generaci\u00f3n de nuevas sinapsis sobre un hipocampo perinatal
