Los objetivos de este experimento son el descubrimiento del bos\u00f3n de higgs y la b\u00fasqueda de la f\u00edsica m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del modelo estandar. Para este fin, la calorimetr\u00eda electromagn\u00e9tica desempe\u00f1a un papel crucial.  el calor\u00edmetro de arg\u00f3n l\u00edquido del experimento atlas est\u00e1 subdivido entre dos subdetectores principales, el barril y los tapones, a su vez subdivididos entre octantes. Esos \u00faltimos est\u00e1n bajo responsabilidad del cppm (marsella) y del grupo de atlas energ\u00edas de la uam (Madrid).  esta tesis est\u00e1 enfocada en describir la geometr\u00eda, la construcci\u00f3n y el montaje de los octantes a\u00eds como analizar los resultados conseguidos al estudiar la respuesta de dos m\u00f3dulos sujetos a haces de electrones en el cern.  particular \u00e9nfasis est\u00e1 puesto en los resultados que afectan al t\u00e9rmino de muestreo y al t\u00e9rmino constante de susodicho calor\u00edmetro as\u00ed como en la uniformidad de la respuesta del
