Micaela <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La finalidad de este trabajo ha sido aislar microorganismos con capacidad para metabolizar simazina y seleccionar las condiciones que permitir\u00edan sus aplicaci\u00f3n en sistemas de descontaminaci\u00f3n, utilizando bacterias inmovilizadas en soportes cer\u00e1micos o bien en alginato.  para ello una vez aislada una bacteria, clasificada taxon\u00f3micamente como klebsiella planticola, capaz de degradar simazina y otros xenobi\u00f3ticos, se identificaron los intermediarios metab\u00f3licos as\u00ed como los productos finales de la degradaci\u00f3n de la simazina.  se estudiaron las condiciones \u00f3ptimas para la inmovilizaci\u00f3n de la biomasa responsable de la biodegradaci\u00f3n, considerando el tipo de soporte, la biodisponibilidad de sustrato y las condiciones del proceso.
