En este modelo, se manejan variables temporales que corresponden a instantes de tiempo, y restricciones temporales que expresan los valores permitidos para la distancia entre dos instantes en forma de distribuciones de posibilidad. Se defienen las operaciones b\u00e1sicas de manipulaci\u00f3n de restricciones, as\u00ed como los conceptos de soluci\u00f3n, consistencia y red m\u00ednima, proponiendo un algoritmo polinomial para el c\u00e1lculo de la red m\u00ednima en el caso no disyuntivo.  para el caso disyuntivo, es necesario utilizar retroceso para calcular soluciones o la red m\u00ednima. Para intentar reducir el esfuerzo en el retorceso, se propone usar t\u00e9cnicas de prepoceso basadas en consistencia local, incluyendo t\u00e9cnicas espec\u00edficas para problemas disyuntivos. Tambi\u00e9n se propone usar algoritmos topol\u00f3gicos que explotan las caracter\u00edsticas del grafo asociado a un problema de satisfacci\u00f3n de restricciones. Se demuestra que es posible descomponer un problema rrtbd en subproblemas que permiten aislar elefecto de las disyunciones de forma local.  una vez definidos los modelos y propuestas las t\u00e9cnicas de soluci\u00f3n, se ha realizado una evaluaci\u00f3n experimental de los algoritmos propuestos con problemas aleatorios, comprobando que ult es el mejor algoritmo de preproceso, y que existe una transici\u00f3n de fase entre problemas f\u00e1ciles y dif\u00edciles de resolver, lo que posibilita la definici\u00f3n de un modelo de coste para estimar el esfuerzo necesario para resolver un problema.  con la informaci\u00f3n obtenida en la evaluaci\u00f3n, se ha construido un prototipo de razonamiento temporal inteligente, que selecciona las t\u00e9cnicas m\u00e1s adecuadas para
