Algunas de las principales t\u00e9cnicas que emplean zono son:  * ozonaci\u00f3n cl\u00e1sica.  * ozonaci\u00f3n con per\u00f3xido de hidr\u00f3geno.  * ozonaci\u00f3n con radiaci\u00f3n uv.  * ozonaci\u00f3n catal\u00edcia, siendo esta \u00faltima la empleada en esta tesis y la que actualmente est\u00e1 en un proceso de i+d.  se procedi\u00f3 a la eliminaci\u00f3n de \u00e1 cido ox\u00e1lico, compuesto \u00e9ste elegido como contaminantes modelo, mediante t\u00e9cnicas de ozonaci\u00f3n catal\u00edtica. Se emplearon para ello como catalizadores: \u00f3xidos de cobalto, titanio  e hierro soportados sobre gamma-al\u00famina, tio2 en polvo, sales disueltas de co(ii), fe(iii) y ti(ii)) y finalmente carb\u00f3n activo.  se realizaron estudios de la influencia de variables y estudios cin\u00e9ticos de los diferentes (ozono+catalizador) as\u00ed como estudios previos de descomposici\u00f3n de ozono sobre los catalizadores anteriormente citados, para verificar si el ozono descompon\u00eda sobre ellos, generando radicales libres, y si deh acerlo, en que cuant\u00eda influ\u00edan estos radicales en el posterior eliminaci\u00f3n de \u00e1cido ox\u00e1lico en los diferentes sistemas catal\u00edticos.  finalmente, se realiza un estudio de la ozonaci\u00f3n catal\u00edtica de feno, compuesto este elegido para simular un agua residual, puesto que su reacci\u00f3n con ozono genera gran cantdiad de compuestos refractorios al poder oxidante del mismo, tales como el \u00e1cido ox\u00e1lico. Se emplea para ello carb\u00f3n activo, y los \u00f3xidos met\u00e1licos de co, ti fe como catalizadores.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
