En el primero se aborda la evolucion del paisaje urbano de la Valencia bajomedicual, el papel del \u00abconsell municipal\u00bb en el progreso, su progresiva perdida de protagonismo, las teorias urbanisticas de eiximenis y san vicente ferrer y las fuentes del ideario sanitario y asistencial de luis vives. Una segunda parte esta dedicada a los artifices (canteros, plateros, escultores y pintores) estudiando sus gremios, su nivel cultural, su posicion social, etc. Una tercera parte pretente profundizar
