La tesis presenta la construcci\u00f3n te\u00f3rica de los diagramas y la campa\u00f1a experimental desarrollada para el contraste de la teor\u00eda. Se muestran los resultados de ensayos sobre probetas y muretes de f\u00e1brica de ladrillo sometidas a distintas combinaciones de esfuerzos planos, axil, momento y cortante. En los ensayos se detectan un fen\u00f3meno no recogido anteriormente en la literatura, consistente en una significativa sobre-resistencia de la f\u00e1brica sometida a axiles exc\u00e9ntricos en su plano. se presentan estudios num\u00e9ricos de micromodelo que aclaran la naturaleza del fen\u00f3meno. Se incluyen tres ejemplos de aplicaci\u00f3n de las t\u00e9cnicas propuestas a casos reales desarrollados sobre construcciones hist\u00f3ricas de f\u00e1brica: la catedral de palma de mallorca, el refuerzo y la ampliaci\u00f3n de un puente de b\u00f3vedasa del s.
