Adem\u00e1s, el procesamiento de factores de crecimiento transmembranales puede ocurrir a trav\u00e9s de rutas dependientes o independientes de mapks. Identificamos a la metaloproteasa tace como la enzima responsable del procesamiento de estas prote\u00ednas transmembranales inducido por activadores de la pkc. En cambio, la ruta de p38 activada por sorbitol o luz ultravioleta, fue capaz de estimilar el procesamiento que otras proteasas son tambi\u00e9n capaces de procesar a estas prote\u00ednas transmembranales.  tambi\u00e9n concluimos que tace es fosforilado por erk en treomina 735, y que ambas prote\u00ednas son capaces de interaccionar. Esta interacci\u00f3n es favorecida cuando erk es activado, y por la presencia de la treomina 735. Adem\u00e1s, demostramos que esta fosforilaci\u00f3n es importante para la regulaci\u00f3n de la actividad de tace por erk1\/2 en el procesamiento de trka.  estos resultados demuestran que las secretasas son capaces de discriminar entre diferentes est\u00edmulos que inducen el procesamiento de prote\u00ednas transmembranales, e indican que la fosforilaci\u00f3n por mapks puede regular la
