En su obra, la vida se refleja en el prisma de su percepci\u00f3n m\u00e1s \u00edntima, mostr\u00e1ndola de modo irrepetible. Pertenece a los directores que configuran un mundo propio, que puede gustar o no a los dem\u00e1s, pero que es aut\u00e9ntico y original. la presencia autoral es tan evidente que su obra resulta \u00fanica, \u00edntima y absolutamente intransferible, pues no existe fuera de \u00e9l. El control absoluto que ejerce sobre todos los estadios del proceso cinematogr\u00e1fico garantiza la exclusividad del conjunto su obra, convirti\u00e9ndola en un corpus artesanal en el que, adem\u00e1s de las huellas de un estilo personal consolidado, pueden encontrarse los profundos surcos que las injerencias autobiogr\u00e1ficas han dejado en cada una de sus pel\u00edculas. La constante b\u00fasqueda de nuevas claves narrativas alejadas de los convencionalismos hace de cada uno de sus films un reto permanente, un paso adelante en el caminar hacia la creaci\u00f3n de su propio lenguaje visual. Apartado por completo del cine comercial o de f\u00f3rmula, sus propuestas son siempre arriesgadas y valientes, y poco a poco van conformando una suerte de inverso especial en el que las claves narrativas, el espacio y el tiempo, lo real y lo imaginario, transcurren de una manera especial. Es un cine que se instala en el terreno intangible de las emociones, y que te seduce o te repele; te engancha y ya no te suelta o no te conmueve lo m\u00e1s m\u00ednimo.
