A lo largo de la misma, el principio de m\u00e1xima verosimilitud es utilizado repetidamente con objeto de derivar estimadores asint\u00f3ticamente eficientes del retardo de la se\u00f1al de navegaci\u00f3n en presencia de multicamino. La complejidad de la estimaci\u00f3n es reducida de dos formas. Por una parte, las t\u00e9cnicas de compresi\u00f3n de datos producen implementaciones en el receptor de menor complejidad. por otra, la implementaci\u00f3n eficiente de m\u00e9todos iterativos de tipo newton permite calcular los estimadores de m\u00e1xima verosimilitud en un n\u00famero peque\u00f1o de operaciones.  la primera parte de la tesis es dedicada a exponer los fundamentos de la sincronizaci\u00f3n en receptores de navegaci\u00f3n y al estado del arte en mitigaci\u00f3n del multicamino. a continuaci\u00f3n se procede a exponer varios resultados sobre la interpolaci\u00f3n de se\u00f1ales de banda limitada en un intervalo finito, que m\u00e1s adelante har\u00e1n posible el dise\u00f1o de estimadores eficientes.  despu\u00e9s de esta parte introductoria, se presentan m\u00e9todos de compresi\u00f3n de datos aplicables a una se\u00f1al de navegaci\u00f3n ds-cdma que ha sido corrompida por el multicamino. Los m\u00e9todos de las componentes principales y de las componentes can\u00f3nicas son las herramientas te\u00f3ricas empleadas en la derivaci\u00f3n de los mismos.  una vez que los m\u00e9todos de compresi\u00f3n han sido investigados, se procede a dise\u00f1ar m\u00e9todos de c\u00e1lculo de los estimadores de m\u00e1xima verosimilitud eficientes. Para ello, se proponen los m\u00e9todos de tipo newton. Aunque estos m\u00e9todos son los m\u00e1s eficientes en problemas de optimizaci\u00f3n sin restricciones, no son habitualmente utilizados debido a que requieren el c\u00e1lculo del gradiente y el hessiano de la funci\u00f3n de coste o una aproximaci\u00f3n del \u00faltimo.
