As\u00ed, durante a\u00f1os se han obtenido una larga serie de compuestos polimet\u00e1licos con diversas geometr\u00edas de coordinaci\u00f3n en los que uno o varios centros met\u00e1licos se coordinan a los azufres del fragmento {pt2(mu-s)2}. A pesar del intenso estudio al que ha sido sometida esta familia de compuestos varios aspectos interesantes de su reactividad permanec\u00edan inexplorados. Algunos de ellos han sido estudiados en esta tesis doctoral utilizando diversas t\u00e9cnicas experimentales (rmn, esi-ms, maldi-tof-ms difracci\u00f3n de rayos x, voltametr\u00eda c\u00edclica), as\u00ed como c\u00e1lculos te\u00f3ricos.  en primer lugar, se ha determinado un m\u00e9todo de obtenci\u00f3n de esp\u00e9cies macromoleculares de nuclearidad controlada, utilizando el compuesto [(dppp)pt(mu-s)2pt(dppp)] como unidad estructural b\u00e1sica.  este m\u00e9todo implica, en primer lugar, la obtenci\u00f3n del compuesto [{pt2(mu-s)2(dppp)2}ptcl2] en el que la labilidad de los ligandos cloruro permite su substituci\u00f3n por ligandos sulfuro, los cuales pueden actuar como puente entre dos centros met\u00e1licos, dando lugar al autoensamblage de dos unidades de f\u00f3rmula {pt3(mu-s)2(dppp)2}2+.  por otro lado, se ha analizado el efecto en la reactividad del fragmento met\u00e1lico {pt(cod)} de la coordinaci\u00f3n a un metaloligando de f\u00f3rmula general [l2pt(mu-s)2ptl2]. La reactividad de este fragmento organomet\u00e1lico queda significativamente afectada en los compuestos de f\u00f3rmula [{l2pt(mu-s)2ptl2}pt(cod)] de tal manera que su reacci\u00f3n con el ani\u00f3n met\u00f3xido consiste en la desprotonaci\u00f3n del ligando olef\u00ednico en lugar de la reactividad habitual descrita para estos sistemas, la cual consiste en el ataque nucle\u00f3filo de la base
