Se prepararon dos formulaciones; una mediante incubaci\u00f3n de la citoquina y las nanopart\u00edculas ya preformadas y otra mediante incubaci\u00f3n de la prote\u00edna y de ifn-gamma previo paso a la coacervaci\u00f3n. El espectro de emisi\u00f3n de fluorescencia de ifn-gamma revel\u00f3 que el microambiente del tript\u00f3fano no se vi\u00f3 afectado por las condiciones de preparaci\u00f3n de las nanopart\u00edculas. El ensayo antiproliferativo realizado en c\u00e9lulas hela demostr\u00f3 que la citoquina, tras la desorci\u00f3n de la superficie de las nanopart\u00edculas, mantuvo \u00edntegramente su actividad. Sin embargo, cuando ifn-gamma fue encapsulado en las nanopart\u00edculas, aunque se obtuvieron mejores eficacias de encapsulaci\u00f3n (alrededor de 100%), la citoquina result\u00f3 inactiva. La adsorci\u00f3n de la citoquina en la superficie de las nanopart\u00edculas aument\u00f3 la estimulaci\u00f3n de los macr\u00f3fagos raw 264.7 con el consiguiente incremento en la producci\u00f3n de \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico (no) y factor de necrosis tumoral (tnf-alfa) pero no afect\u00f3 a la expresi\u00f3n del complejo mayor de histocompatibilidad de clase ii (mhc-ii). El atrapamiento de la citoquina en el interior de la nanopart\u00edcula no indujo ning\u00fan tipo de respuesta macrof\u00e1gica. finalmente, se estudi\u00f3 la eficacia de las nanopart\u00edculas deifn-gamma en macr\u00f3fagos y ratones infectados con brucella abortus. La adsorci\u00f3n de ifn-gamma en las nanopart\u00edculas increment\u00f3 significativamente la inhibici\u00f3n de la replicaci\u00f3n de brucella abortus comparado con ifn-gamma libre. Sin embargo, el ifn-gamma encapsulado result\u00f3 inactivo. Igualmente, en ratones balb\/c infectados, ifn-gamma adsorbido pero no encapsulado, result\u00f3 m\u00e1s activo en reducir el n\u00famero de bacterias en el bazo, siendo este efecto mediado por el
