Un importante numero de estados de Valencia y rydberg fueron calculados, muchos de ellos por vez primera. El modelo teorico empleado incluye los metodos ab initio ci y principalmente casscf\/casptz, el cual ha mostrado su excelente adecuacion al campo de los estados excitados. Tres fueron las familias de compuestos estudiados, con un amplio conjunto de resultados.
