Para ello hemos realizado tres experiencias independientes.  en una primera experiencia evaluamos las caracter\u00edsticas seminales de 38 eyaculados obtenidos de 7 burros zamorano-leoneses para establecer los par\u00e1metros de normalidad dentro de la raza. Los varones seminales encontrados en la raza zamorano-leonesa son similares al os descritos en otras razas de asnos; presentando gran homogeneidad en los par\u00e1metros relacionados con la calidad del semen (ph, mt, mp, a, hos), pero una gran variabilidad en cuanto a la producci\u00f3n (vo, nt, ntmp y ntmpn).  en una segunda experiencia realizamos un estudio sobre refrigeraci\u00f3n del semen de asno con el fin de establecer las condiciones de recogida y manipulaci\u00f3n que permitan la m\u00e1xima supervivencia de los espermatozoides de asno para su almacenamiento. Evaluamos el \u00abefecto del plasma seminal\u00bb mediante el estudio de la recogida de semen con vagina cerrada y la posterior eliminaci\u00f3n o no del plasma seminal y la recogida de semen con vagina abierta; el \u00abefecto del diluyente\u00bb, comparando el uso de leche, kenney, inra 82 o tris-yema; y el \u00abefecto de la temperatura de conservaci\u00f3n\u00bb utilizando tres temperaturas 20\u00c2\u00bac, 15\u00c2\u00bac y 4\u00c2\u00bac.  en esta experiencia encontramos que el plasma seminal tiene un efecto negativo en la viabilidad del semen refrigerado del burro, que el uso del diluyente inra 82 para la refrigeraci\u00f3n de semen en ausencia de plasma seminal puede mantener su viabilidad por un periodo amplio de tiempo, superior a las 60 horas y finalmente el m\u00e9todo de conservaci\u00f3n de semen a 15\u00c2\u00bac en condiciones aer\u00f3bias conserv\u00f3 mejor la integridad de la membrana plasm\u00e1tica.  en una tercera experiencia intentamos
