Demostrado, por t\u00e9cnicas inmunohistoqu\u00edmicas, que se detectan ampliamente a lo largo del tracto gastrointestinal, nos propusimos investigar si afectaban a las funciones del intestino. La absorci\u00f3n intestinal se midi\u00f3 en ratas wistar in vivo (absorciones sucesivas tras perfusi\u00f3n de asa de yeyuno) e invitro (acumulaci\u00f3n de sustrato en anillos de intestino evertido) y en monocapa de c\u00e9lulas caco 2. La expresi\u00f3n del cotransportador sglt1 en la membrana de borde en cepilllo se verific\u00f3 mediante western blot y ulterior densitometr\u00eda.  tambi\u00e9n se midi\u00f3 la actividad enzim\u00e1tica de las disacaridasas y de la na+, k+ atpasa y la motilidad de intestino de rata se registr\u00f3 en ba\u00f1o de \u00f3rganos.  los resultados demuestran que los p\u00e9ptidos derivados de la adrenomedulina am y pamp regulan la absorci\u00f3n intestinal en rata. Act\u00faan sobre el contransportador luminal sglt1 y son efectivos desde el rango picomolar. El rpam pprovoca siempre estimulaci\u00f3n, mientras que el efecto de la ram dpende de la concentraci\u00f3n (inhibitorio a bajas, 10 -12m, y estimulatorio a mas altas, 10 -8m). Los efectos de los dos p\u00e9ptidos no son aditivos. La acci\u00f3n del rpamp y la del ram a 10 -8m est\u00e1 mediada por incremento del ampc, con ulterior aumento de la expresi\u00f3n de sglt1 en la membrana apical de los enterocitos. En cambio, los resultados con 10 -12m de ram reclaman la mediaci\u00f3n de otro segundo mensajero con efecto inhibidor sobre la absorci\u00f3n de az\u00facares, sin la implicaci\u00f3n de la pkc. Ninguno de los p\u00e9ptidos afecta la actividad disacarid\u00e1sica ni la na+, k+ atpasa, mientras que provocan un efecto contr\u00e1ctil en el intestino.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
