El alcanzar convenientemente este objetivo ha originado que este trabajo exhiba un car\u00e1cter multidisciplinar al requerir paradigmas y t\u00e9cnicas de dos grandes disciplinas como son la rob\u00f3tica y la inteligencia artificial. Se propone una arquitectura distribuida de control basada en agentes para la navegaci\u00f3n aut\u00f3noma de veh\u00edculos en exteriores y especialmente orientada al laboreo agr\u00edcola. Este modelo se ha validado implant\u00e1ndolo en un sistema real complejo; un tractor comercial automatizado que constituye uno de los resultados relevantes de esta tesis.  de modo general el trabajo desarrollado y expuesto en esta memoria est\u00e1 organizado alrededor de cinco ejes:  1,- una revisi\u00f3n exhaustiva de la rob\u00f3tica en agricultura, para analizar los requisitos y restricciones impuestos por una tarea agr\u00edcola.  2,- la automatizaci\u00f3n y sensorizaci\u00f3n de un tractor comercial, incorporando al mismo las electrov\u00e1lvulas y los cilindros hidr\u00e1ulicos adicionales necesarios para el control autom\u00e1tico de la direcci\u00f3n y tracci\u00f3n. As\u00ed como la integraci\u00f3n en el tractor de un conjunto de sensores: dgps, br\u00fajula digital, l\u00e1ser de barrido, inclin\u00f3metros, sensor de choque y od\u00f3metros dise\u00f1ados y desarrollados para el tractor; con la finalidad de poder percibir el estado del sistema\/entorno y reaccionar de forma adecuada. La puesta a punto del tractor ser completa con la incorporaci\u00f3n de un ordenador a bordo que se comunica, v\u00eda radio-ethernet, con cualquier estaci\u00f3n de trabajo conectada a internet.  3,- el desarrollo del control de tracci\u00f3n as\u00ed como de laimplementaci\u00f3n de un sistema de control borroso de la direcci\u00f3n.
