Los resultados obtenidos indican que el derivado isoxazolico frente a u-butil litio y lica conduce a dos carbaniones, uno en el metilo de c-3 y otro en la posicion c-4 del heterociclo; frente al sistema lica-tmeda se desprotona selectivamente generando unicamente el carbanion en el grupo metilo de c-3, lo que conduce a isoxazoles 5-fenil-3-sustituidos como productos puros. Respecto del derivado de isotiazol con las bases estudiadas genera practicamente un solo carbanion en el metilo de c-3.  cuando el reactivo electrofilo empleado era un oxocompuesto, un ester, n,n-dimetilformamida o cloruro de n,n-dimetilcarbamoilo se obtiene como producto secundario 1,2-bis (5-fenil-3 isotiazolil) etano.  a pesar de los datos existentes en bibliografia, acerca de la accion del n-butil litio sobre derivados isotiazolicos, que implica apertura del heterociclo, en nuestras condiciones no se han detectado nunca los posibles productos de la
