Se ha centrado la atencion en sistemas orientados a lo largo de direcciones de baja simetria y en sistemas con gran desajuste de parametro de red. Asi mismo, se ha utilizado la espectroscopia raman para el estudio de las propiedades vibraciones de estos sistemas.  los resultados presentados en esta memoria ponen de manifiesto la rica fenomenolog\u00eda que tiene lugar en los sistemas investigados. Queda patente, ademas, las grandes posibilidades de las espectroscopias opticas como tecnicas de caracterizacion de nuevas heteroestructuras con interes tecnologico. Para obtener toda la informacion posible a partir de los datos experimentales ha sido necesaria la comparacion con modelos teoricos adecuados y la utilizacion complementaria de diversas tecnicas
