Jes\u00fas S\u00e1nchez Montero <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se ha realizado un estudio del efecto de distintas variables experimentales en al preparaci\u00f3n de carb\u00f3n por activaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica con agua supercr\u00edtica, a partir de madera de encina. El trabajo se completa con un estudio comparativo de la activaci\u00f3n con agua supercr\u00edtica y con vapor de agua.  como material de partida se ha utilizado madera de encima, la cual se somete a un proceso de carbonizaci\u00f3n a 700\u00c2\u00bac, en atm\u00f3sfera inerte de nitr\u00f3geno.  la activaci\u00f3n del carbonizado se realiz\u00f3 por oxidaci\u00f3n controlada con agua supercr\u00edtica en el intervalo 500-600\u00c2\u00bac y durante diferente tiempo para obtener distintos grados de activaci\u00f3n. La activaci\u00f3n es significativamente r\u00e1pida a partir de 550\u00c2\u00bac. La temperatura solamente afecta a la velocidad de activaci\u00f3n pero no a las carcter\u00edsticas texturales de los carbones preparados, de modo que carbones con igual grado de activaci\u00f3n y preparados a diferente temperatura presentan caracter\u00edsticas texturales semejantes.  el desarrollo textural de los carbones se encuentran fuertemente condicionado por el grado de activaci\u00f3n, pasando por un valor m\u00e1ximo entorno al 45-50%.  el caudal aumenta al velocidad de gasificaci\u00f3n del carbonizado sin modificar las caracter\u00edsticas texturales.  el tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula, en el intervalo de 0.150-1.000 mm, no parece tener influencia en la velocidad de activaci\u00f3n ni en las caracter\u00edsticas texturales de los carbones preparados.  la activaci\u00f3n con agua supercr\u00edtica es del orden de diez veces m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida que con vaposr de agua y conduce a carbones con mayor volumen de microporo y una distribuci\u00f3n de tama\u00f1o m\u00e1s ancha, desarrollando mesoporosidad y tienen bajo contenido en materia mineral.
