Con este objetivo se ha llevado a cabo una b\u00fasqueda observacional de estrellas en esta fase evolutiva, lo que ha dado como resultado un cat\u00e1logo de esepctroscop\u00eda \u00f3ptica en el que se recogen 255 objetos, de los cuales 203 son estrellas post-agb o nebulosas planetarias (pn, de las siglas en ingl\u00e9s planetary nebula).  este cat\u00e1logo es el producto de 15 a\u00f1os de observaciones realizadas por nuestro grupo, siguiendo criterios de selecci\u00f3n basados en valores l\u00edmites de las densidades de flujo en las bandas observacionales del sat\u00e9lite iras.  los objetos observados han sido clasificados en tipos espectrales, siempre que fue posible. En el caso de las nebuolosas planetarias y de los objetos de transici\u00f3n, han sido calculadas sus clases de excitaci\u00f3n.  como resultado de estas observaciones hemos obtenido la muestra m\u00e1s extensa y completa existente hasta el momento de objetos en la etapa evolutiva post-agb con clasificaciones espectrales. Esto nos ha permitido realizar estudios estad\u00edsticos acerca de las propiedades f\u00edsicas de las estrellas en estas etapas tard\u00edas de evoluci\u00f3n.  en particular, se ha obtenido la distribuci\u00f3n espectral de energ\u00eda (sed, seg\u00fan sus iniciales en ingl\u00e9s) de todas las estrellas de la muestra pertenecientes a las etapas de nuestro inter\u00e9s, con el fin de estudiar de forma conjunta las propiedades y evoluci\u00f3n de la envoltura circumestelar y de la estrella central.  estas seds han sido clasificadas en cinco grupos, siguiendo los criterios definidos por van der veen et al. 1989. Los cinco grupos fueron caracterizados mediante el estudio de la latitud gal\u00e1ctica, el tipo espectral, la qu\u00edmica dominante y la posici\u00f3n en el diagrama color-color iras de los objetos
