Aplicando tecnicas de simulacion se comparan las prestaciones de dos variantes del popular protocolo csma\/cd. Csma\/dcr resuelve las colisiones de forma determinista, mientras que p-csma\/cd permite la gestion de distintos niveles de prioridad. El estudio se completa con la presentacion y analisis de csma\/rdcp, un protocolo original que reune ambas propiedades, evitando la inversion de prioridad en el acceso al canal. Los resultados obtenidos permiten considerar como una opcion valida la utilizacion de protocolos basados en metodos de contienda, como soporte del intercambio de datos en un sistema de
