El estudio ha sido realizado en muestras gruesas de pe, ipp, pvdf y pet. Los resultados obtenidos en todos ellos permiten pensar que el proceso de deformacion promueve un alto grado de orientacion de las cadenas. En este estado las cadenas soportan gran parte del esfuerzo aplicado directamente sobre su esqueleto apareciendo fenomenos como deformacion de la geometria de la molecula y cambios conformacionales, los cuales pueden estar asociados a transformaciones cristalinas (pvdf) y aumento de cristalinidad (pet). En aquellas condiciones en las que las cadenas presentan una elevada movilidad y volumen libre, el proceso de deformacion es la combinacion de un tipico proceso que involucra formacion de cuello, y otro, homogeneo, que se da sobre toda la longitud de la probeta y que corresponde a un deslizamiento de unas cadenas sobre otras. En general, temperaturas altas o en torno a la transicion vitrea junto con velocidades bajas de deformacion, favorecen este ultimo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
