Este modelo surge del intento de resolver el problema de modelado de la educaci\u00f3n como un caso particular de un problema m\u00e1s general: la representaci\u00f3n de sistemas din\u00e1micos en interacci\u00f3n con un entorno. Este cambio de enfoque a un nivel de abstracci\u00f3n superior para resolver el problema se inspira en dos ideas fundamentales: el proceso de abstracci\u00f3n seguido por la f\u00edsica para obtener una representaci\u00f3n unificada de las interacciones fundamentales, y el concepto de meta-representaci\u00f3n propuesto por heylighen para la representaci\u00f3n de sistemas din\u00e1micos.  el modelo desarrollado permite caracterizar los diferentes elementos del proceso educativo (unidades did\u00e1cticas, acciones docentes, mecanismos de evaluaci\u00f3n y estado del alumno), lo que facilita su reutilizaci\u00f3n y comparaci\u00f3n. asimismo permite detectar problemas durante el dise\u00f1o y la impartici\u00f3n del curso, determinando el momento en el que se producen, cuantificando su magnitud e indicando los objetivos involucrados.  finalmente, el modelo facilita la propuesta de soluciones ya que permite discriminar si los problemas se deben a la heterogeneidad
