Jose <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se estudia la expresion de las proteinas p-170, c-erbb-2 y p53, codificadas por el gen mdr, en una serie de 34 carcinomas de mama. De ellos, 17 localmente avanzados y tratados inicialmente con un esquema de poliquimioterapia que comprendia al menos uno de los farmacos incluidos en la mdr. Los 17 restantes, que constituyen el grupo control, eran carcinomas operables.  para la deteccion de las proteinas estudiadas se empleo el metodo inmunohistoquimico y la tecnica de la estreptavidina-biotina peroxidasa, utilizando los anticuerpos monoclonales c219 y jsb1 para la p-170, ncl-cb11 para el c-erbb-2 y pab1801 en la p53.  la hiperexpresion de niveles elevados de glucoproteina-p es significativamente mayor en los carcinomas avanzados y en los operables de mayor tama\u00f1o, aumenta tras la administracion de quimioterapia y se asocia con un menor numero de remisiones completas en los carcinomas inoperables. Ademas, en este grupo de tumores, existe una correlacion entre la hiperexpresion de p-170 y el ancogen c-erbb-2.
