Estos resultados apoyan la hip\u00f3tesis que otto warburg propuso a principios del siglo pasado seg\u00fan la cual esta alteraci\u00f3n de la funcionalidad mitocondrial debe estar involucrada en la resistencia que estas c\u00e9lulas tumorales presentan frente a diversos est\u00edmulos apopt\u00f3ticos.  hemos utilizado estaurosporina para inducir muerte celular programada en tres l\u00edneas celulares de h\u00edgao de rata (c9, fao y as30d) que presenta una diferente dependiente de fosforilaci\u00f3n oxidativa para la obtenci\u00f3n de su energ\u00eda metab\u00f3lica (fao mayor c9 mayor as30d). La estaurosporina induce apoptosis a trav\u00e9s de mecanismos tanto dependientes como independientes de caspasas en las l\u00edneas celulares c9 y fao. La l\u00ednea celular as30d es resistente a la apoptosis inducida por esta droga. La oligomicina, un inhibidior espec\u00edfico de la h+ -atp sintasa previene la muerte celular en c\u00e9lulas c9 y fao sugiriendo que la actividad de este complejo es importante para la ejecuci\u00f3n de la apoptosis. Sin embargo, la oligomicina no previene el r\u00e1pido hinchamiento mitocondrial ni la liberaci\u00f3n de componentes pro-apopt\u00f3ticos de la mitocondria. Por otro lado, la estaurosporina induce la producci\u00f3n de especies reactivas de ox\u00edgeno (ros).
