Esta  \u00faltima bacteria se tipific\u00f3 mediante t\u00e9cnicas moleculares como fueron, la electroforesis en gel de poliacrilamida, rapd, pcr-rflp, obteniendo gran heterogeneidad entre las diferentes cepas; tambi\u00e9n, se realiz\u00f3 la secuenciaci\u00f3n del gen rnar 16s, encontrando que algunas cepas de p. Shigelloides pose\u00edan m\u00e1s identidad con cepas pertenecientes a la familia enterobacteriaceae. Se logr\u00f3 detectar actividad hemol\u00edtica en las cepas estudiadas tanto extracelular como asociada a las c\u00e9lulas. Se observ\u00f3 que estas cepas toleraban hasta 5.5% de nacl, ph entre 4.5 a 9, crec\u00edan a valores m\u00ednimos de aw de 0.92 y su temperatura m\u00ednima de crecimiento fue de 10\u00c2\u00bac. Finalmente se logr\u00f3 dise\u00f1ar una t\u00e9cnica de pcr, basada en la amplificaci\u00f3n del gen huga, para la identificaci\u00f3n de esta bacteria a partir de muestras de
