<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Excendina 4,agonista del receptor pancre\u00e1tico para glp-1(7-36)resistente a la degradaci\u00f3n  enzim\u00e1tica,reduce los niveles circulantes de ghrelin, de forma espec\u00edfica y dosis dependiente, tanto administrativo por v\u00eda intraperitoneal como por v\u00eda intracerebroventricular, en ratas sometidas a ayuno, pero no en ratas alimentadas \u00abas l\u00edbitum\u00bb.Siemdo ghrelin una hormona importante en la g\u00e9nesis del apetito y en la regulaci\u00f3n de la ingesta cal\u00f3rica, este mecanismo de inhibici\u00f3n resulta muy relevante.Los efectos descritos \u00abde novo\u00bb para excendina4, no son reproducidos por glp-1(7-36), ni por otros miembros de  la misma familia como glp-1(1-37)o glp-2,en ninguna circunstancia, ni son antagonizables por exendina 9-39.Esto indica que exendina 4 ejerce sus efectos por un mecanismo independiente independiente de los descritos para glp-1.Exendina 4 tiene un potente efecto hiperglucemiante, disociable de su capacidad para incluir la secreci\u00f3n de insulina y predomianate sobre esta, que es ejercicio por la activaciones de ghrelin.Exendina 4 activa el eje cortico-adrenal de manera consistente,lo que se traduce en una manifiesta elevaci\u00f3n de los niveles circulantes de corticosterona, lo que puede contribuir a la elevaci\u00f3n de la glucemia observa.En conjunto nuestros datos aportan pruebas experimentales s\u00f3lidas de que exendina 4 est\u00e1 ejerciendo sus efectos biol\u00f3gicos a trav\u00e9s de tres mecanismos diferentes:  a)estimula la secreci\u00f3n de insulina, agonizando el receptor de glp-1  b)produce una intensa activaci\u00f3n del sistema nervioso simp\u00e1tico, que causa la elevaci\u00f3n de los niveles circulares de glucosa y corticosterona.  c)reduce los niveles circulares de ghrelin por un mecanismo independiente de los otros dos,y no activable por glp-1,lo que implica muy probablemente la existencia de un receptor que medie espec\u00edficamente los efectos de exendina4.Fianlmente, el bloqueo del sistema vegetativo parasimp\u00e1tico con atropina, reduce los nieveles
