En el capitulo 1 se describe la sintesis de los complejos ir(acac)(coe)(pr3) (pr3 = pipr3, pcy3). Este complejo adiciona oxidativamente alquinos, silanos, estannanos e hidrogeno molecular mostrando que el ligando acetilacetonato es capaz de estabilizar especies de iridio (i), iridio (iii) e iridio (v). Asimismo, el derivado ir(acac)h(siet3)(pcy3) promueve la actividad catalitica en la adicion selectiva anti de trietilsilano a fenilacetileno. Con el fin de comprobar la generalidad del comportamiento de estos sistemas en el capitulo 2 se describe la sintesis y caracterizacion de los complejos plano-cuadrados de rodio rh(acac)(coe)(pcy3) y rh(acac)(pcy3)2; ademas, hemos investigado su reactividad frente a las reacciones de adicion oxidativa de hidrogeno molecular, alquinos, estannanos y germananos. En el tercer capitulo describimos la sintesis y caracterizacion de los dimeros de rodio (rh(mu-ooccr3)(co)(pcy3))2 y rh2(mu-ooccr3)2(co)3(pcy3) (r=h y f) y estudiamos su reactividad frente alquinos. Finalmente se incluye una conclusion general en la que se destacan las aportaciones mas relevantes que ha revelado el presente estudio.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
