Dominguez <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Sobre un modelo experimental de sepsis por ligadura y puncion del ciego en ratas, hemos estudiado las variaciones de la inmunidad de mediacion celular y de las citoquinas il-1 y tnf-alfa inducidas por la transfusion homologa, por la transfusion autologa y por la timoestimulina, llegando a las siguientes conclusiones:  1.-El modelo experimental de sepsis induce en la rata una alteracion de la respuesta inmunologica caracterizada por un ascenso de la subpoblacion cd8, una disminucion en el primer dia postsepsis de la expresion del il-2r y una mayor liberacion de il-1 en las primeras 24 horas.   2.- la transfusion de sangre homologa induce una mayor alteracion de la respuesta del sistema inmunologico cuando se asocia a la situacion experimental de sepsis intraabdominal.   3.-La transfusion de sangre autologa asociada al modelo de sepsis induce una inmunoestimulacion caracterizada por un mayor porcentaje de la subpoblacion cd4, del cociente cd4\/cd8 y de la expresion del il-2r, asi como una menor liberacion de il-1.  4.-La timoestimulina ejerce una accion inmunomoduladora sobre la respuesta inmunologica inducida por la sepsis intraabdominal, caracterizada por un mayor porcentaje de la subpoblacion cd4, del cociente cd4\/cd8 y de la expresion del il-2r, asi como una menor liberacion de il-1 y del tnf-alfa.   5.-La timoestimulina ejerce una accion inmunomoduladora, similar a la anterior, cuando se administra en una situacion inmunodepresora mayor, como es la sepsis asociada a transfusion
