El investigador detecta que la flexibilidad genera una serie de incertidumbres que se convierten en catalizadoras de acciones que persiguen controlar el entorno organizacional y laboral. El texto analiza los discursos unitaristas de la direccion empresarial, la disciplina de la contratacion, las diferentes formas de negociacion del esfuerzo y los intercambios sociales que se desarrollan entre trabajadores y direccion empresarial. La investigacion en que se basa la tesis doctoral descansa en dos areas: la sociolog\u00eda de las organizaciones y la sociolog\u00eda del trabajo.
