Un estudio teorico de la respuesta del modelo ha permitido concluir que puede adaptarse a un amplio rango de situaciones diferentes, caracterizando en cada caso la importancia relativa de las distintas fuentes de radon. Se presentan los resultados obtenidos en un estudio experimental llevado a cabo en una vivienda unifamiliar habitada que se ha equipado para monitorizar, durante un a\u00f1o, parametros relevantes para la caracterizacion de la vivienda desde el punto de vista de la problematica del radon. Se ha adaptado el modelo a la casa estudiada y se ha obtenido un buen acuerdo entre el nivel medio de radon predicho por el modelo y el obtenido experimentalmente.  en este caso, los materiales de construccion son la principal fuente de radon. El modelo describe razonablemente bien las variaciones temporales de la concentracion de radon obtenidas experimentalmente.  dichas variaciones vienen dadas por la ventilacion, generada, cuando puertas y ventanas estan cerradas, a partir del viento y de la diferencia de temperatura entre interior y exterior de la casa.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
