Luz <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Las anomalias cromosomicas son una de las causas mas importantes de la reducida fecundidad en la especie humana. Es enecesario hacer estudios citogeneticos en diferentes momentos del proceso reproductivo para determinar la incidencia, supervivencia y posible transmision de las anomalias cromosomicas a la descendencia.  se ha realizado un analisis citogenetico de vellosidades coriales (vc) entre la 8 y 36 semanas de gestacion.  las indicaciones diagnosticas mas frecuentes han sido la ansiedad y la edad materna.  se ha conseguido una optimizacion de la tecnica citogenetica. La valoracion del rendimiento de la tecnica mostro un exito del 98.5%. Se han observado un 3.6% de anomalias cromosomicas, siendo un 2.2% numericas, un 0.4% estructurales y un 1.1% mosaicos.  se han analizado las frecuencias de anomalias cromosomicas respecto a otros tejidos y los factores que influyen en su aparicion.
