Tambien se ha obtenido con buen rendimiento el derivado difuncionalizado 9,10-bis (terc-butilhidroximetil)antraceno. Se han estudiado por rmn los diferentes isomeros de los derivados difuncionalizados aplicandose la nueva tecnica cl-rmn. Se han ensayado diferentes metodos de resolucion para los carbinoles. Con el metodo de la resolucion indirecta se ha determinado la configuracion absoluta de cada enantiomero del 9-antril terc-butil carbinol y con el metodo de la resolucion directa se ha resuelto este producto. Hemos realizado un estudio estructural de los alcoholes y de las cetonas precursoras. Se han determinado las barreras de rotacion del enlace c9-c11 en los carbinoles utilizando distintos metodos.
