Carotovora, p.  aeruginosa y r. Sphaeroides. Con este proposito se ha analizado el grado de conservacion de estos genes y sus secuencias polipeptidicas deducidas y se ha estudiado la regulacion de su expresion genica.  el aislamiento del gen gyra de e. Carotovora y p.Aeruginosa se realizo por complementacion heterologa de la mutacion termosensible gy-ra43 (ts) de escherichia coli, por conjugacion de las correspondientes genotecas construidas. Respecto r. Sphaeroides, se utilizo un fragmento interno del gen gyra, amplificado por pcr, como sonda para aislar el gen gyra de este microorganismo mediante hibridacion de las genotecas construidas.  el analisis de las secuencias de los genes aislados ha puesto de manifiesto un elevado grado de homolog\u00eda entre ellos, tanto a nivel de secuencia de dna como de proteina, siendo la region n-terminal mucho mas conservada que la c-terminal, especialmente los residuos entorno la tirosona responsable de la actividad catalitica del enzima.  mediante la construccion de fusiones cromosomicas entre el promotor de los genes gyra de e. Carotovora, p.  aeruginosa y r. Sphaeroides con el gen lacz de e. Coli se ha estudiado la regulacion transcripcional de los genes aislados. Las fusiones de e. Carotovora y p.
