Con este proposito hemos elegido los cuatro dramas shakesperianos-hamlet, romeo and juliet, othello y macbeth- que gozaron de mas popularidad y llamaron la atencion de los circulos culturales en los siglos examinados, y los hemos estudiado desde una triple perspectiva: critica general, traducciones y representaciones, obras inspiradas en ellas.  la metodolog\u00eda que hemos adoptado ha sido el analisis historico-filologico, siempre con un enfoque comparativo, desarrollado a traves de la consulta directa de documentos impresos o manuscritos de seguro valor
