Se muestra que todos los intentos de justificar tal postulado a partir del analisis de infinitas copias de un sistema simple, son falaces. Sin embargo el teorema de gleason si da lugar, desde un punto de vista axiomatico, a la forma habitual de la probabilidad.  en el capitulo tercero se examina la aplicacion del concepto de entropia, en sus diferentes acepciones, para caracterizar la evolucion de los sistemas cuanticos. Se destaca en particular el papel de la informacion mutua para diferencias radicalmente los sistemas cuanticos de los clasicos, y el de la entropia algoritmica para caracterizar la relacion entre
